Donald P. Sauberan, M.D. specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He served in the United States Air Force as a General Medical Officer at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ. He then completed an Ophthalmology residency at SAUSHEC in San Antonio, TX & his Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospitals & Clinics in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Sauberan enjoys bike rides with his children, watching Green Bay Packers football and golfing. He resides in Lincoln, NE with his wife and 4 children.
Dr. Sauberan is board certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology, a member of American Academy of Ophthlamology, American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, American Medical Association, Nebraska Medical Association, Lancaster County Medical Society, and the Nebraska Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Sauberan is also a member of the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigators Group (PEDIG), a group of academic and private practice ophthalmologists who conduct research on pediatric eye disorders.
