Dr. Sarah Langan is an optometrist who provides comprehensive eye examinations including contact lens fittings, pre and post op eye care, pediatric eye care and urgent eye care.

A native of Norfolk, Nebraska, Dr. Langan graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She obtained her doctorate of optometry degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2008. Because of her academic success, Dr. Langan was inducted into the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society. After graduation, Dr. Langan returned to Nebraska where she worked for one year at Offutt Air Force Base. She then made her way home to Norfolk in 2009 where she practiced optometry for 10 years at Exact Eye Care. During that time, she fell in love with the patient education aspect of the profession. Dr. Langan strives for patients to leave the examination room feeling well taken care of and well-informed. In her mind, a successful patient encounter requires accuracy and attention to detail, and an ability to relay those findings in an accessible manner using kindness and compassion. Dr. Langan was thrilled to join Eye Physicians in 2019.

Dr. Langan is licensed to practice optometry by the Nebraska Board of Optometry and is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association, as well as the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Langan is married to Adam, a dentist, and they are the proud parents of Evelyn and Bennett. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, running, and getting her teeth cleaned!
